Angelica Antonini

Born in Milan in 2005, she began studying the violin under the guidance of Liana Mosca, continuing her studies until 2022 at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan with Claudio Mondini.

Biography

For ten years she was a member of the Children’s Choir of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, directed by Bruno Casoni, taking part in numerous operatic and symphonic productions. In 2021 she appeared as a soloist at Teatro alla Scala in the role of Apparizione in Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi, conducted by Riccardo Chailly, alongside artists such as Anna Netrebko, Luca Salsi and Francesco Meli. Since 2022 she has been studying Baroque singing at the G.

Verdi Conservatory with Gemma Bertagnolli, focusing on early music repertoire. In 2025 she took part in the Seven Springs season, directed by Gloria Campaner and Nicola Campogrande, performing in a concert with Giovanni Antonini, Yasaman Mashhouri and Michele Pasotti at the Scuola Holden in Turin. In the same year, accompanied by the Baroque ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, she performed works by Monteverdi, Strozzi and Cesti at the Wratislavia Cantans Festival (Poland). Also in 2025, she performed at the Oropa Music Festival in Biella and Lessona (Piedmont), under the direction of Federico Gad Crema. In November 2025 she took part in the La Lira di Orfeo season, directed by Raffaele Pe, collaborating with Giovanni Antonini, Michele Pasotti and Liana Mosca. Alongside her musical studies, she is currently attending a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan.
